The covering of the Mother of God, and on the reverse a prayer in Old Slavonic.

Textile metanier, woven by monks in prayer and purity. Each metanier is made by hand with a lot of effort, each copy requiring approximately 3-4 hours to make. The solid silver element, blown with 24 karat gold, is hand cast by a Greek Orthodox artisan jeweler working for the Holy Mountain.

Gold blown silver tarnishes over time
Please note that the gold plating of the item will wear off over time. The duration of this process may vary depending on the conditions to which it is exposed.
The solid silver from which the object is made will remain.

It is recommended to remove it during the shower.
Although it is water resistant, daily exposure to chemicals in cosmetics and frequent exposure to the bathroom can accelerate its deterioration.
